Tasting note (Antonio Galloni): “The 2024 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is quite perfumed and floral, wafting up from the glass with an aromatic bouquet of sweet sage, wild strawberry and wet stone. This is a juicy effort with tart cherry and cranberry fruits to balance as inner rose tones swirl throughout. Fresh and long, it leaves a gentle staining of primary concentration, a saline kick and lingering hints of licorice. The 2024 is a fantastic value and finishes at a comparably modest 13.5% ABV, making it easy on the wallet and the palate.”
