Pierre Jean Merlot 2025

A soft, fruit-forward dry red Merlot from the Aude in the Languedoc, southern France.

Pierre Jean wines are made to pair modern techniques with long-standing tradition: the vines are carefully tended and each wine is handcrafted for full flavour and distinctive character. Bottled in France by Grande Cave d'Albret.

Tasting notes: Bright purple-red. Aromas of plum, blackberry and fig with hints of red berries. Medium-bodied, with a round, smooth texture and lively acidity. Fermented in stainless steel to keep the fruit fresh.

Food pairing: Tomato-based pasta, pumpkin casserole, hearty soups and grilled red meats. Serve at 15–18°C.
