MONTES ALPHA SPECIAL CUVEE CHARDONNAY 2023

Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Chardonnay from the Montes vineyard at Zapallar in Aconcagua Costa, a few kilometres from the Pacific. Partly barrel-fermented, with coastal freshness balancing the oak.

Tasting note (Antonio Galloni): “The 2023 Chardonnay Special Cuvee Montes Alpha from Zapallar, Aconcagua Costa leads with barrel influence: pastry, cream, apple crumble, caramel and acacia. On the palate, coastal acidity vitalizes the oak-driven profile, bringing agility and a buttery, nutty finish. In a warm, dry year, the barrel influence is dominant but the freshness of the coast keeps it in balance.”
