Luce is the Frescobaldi family's Montalcino estate, founded with Robert Mondavi. Sangiovese and Merlot, rich and velvety.
Tasting notes (retailer): The 2023 Luce combines Sangiovese and Merlot in a harmonious expression of Montalcino. Aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, violet, and cedar are complemented by hints of cocoa and sweet spice. The palate is rich and velvety, with polished tannins and impressive concentration. Powerful yet elegant, it finishes with exceptional balance and persistence.
