Leroy Volnay 2009

Maison Leroy is Lalou Bize-Leroy's négoce house, renowned for its exacting selection. A Volnay of great purity.

Tasting notes (retailer): The warmth of 2009 gives this Volnay a seductive generosity, with ripe raspberry, cherry and rose petal complemented by sweet spice. Velvety fruit fills the palate before fine tannins and fresh acidity restore elegance and definition. With maturity, hints of dried flowers, earth and undergrowth add further complexity. Richly perfumed yet graceful, with a lingering, silky finish.
