Tasting note (Jeb Dunnuck): “From a vintage that saw lots of rain, the 2007 Château Valandraud is fully mature, with complex notes of sweet currants, chocolate, truffly earth, and subtle cedary herb nuances. Old school Saint-Emilion lovers will dig this. It has a subtle green edge (it’s not vegetal) and it’s medium to full-bodied, with good, not great ripeness, terrific balance, and outstanding length.”
