Tasting note (Jeb Dunnuck): “The 2022 Château Lassègue is terrific and just another incredibly impressive Saint-Emilion in this sensational vintage. Based on 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, its deep ruby/plum hue is followed by a ripe yet vibrant perfume of darker berries, truffly earth, tobacco, and floral nuances. With plenty of classic Right Bank minerality as well as a full-bodied, layered, opulent mouthfeel, it has sweet yet present tannins, impeccable balance, and outstanding length.”
