Château Ausone 2021

Château Ausone is one of the great names of Bordeaux, a tiny Saint-Émilion estate on limestone slopes owned by the Vauthier family. Cabernet Franc-dominant, rare and extremely long-lived.

Tasting note (James Suckling): “On the nose, this refined and silky wine shows violets, raspberries, blackcurrants and crushed stone. Medium-bodied, with cocoa and sandalwood. The center palate is deep and flavorful, solid fruit and a wonderful texture going long and horizontal. It makes you smile.”
