Bass Phillip in South Gippsland is one of Australia's most famous Pinot Noir producers. The Estate Chardonnay is pure, fine and age-worthy.

Tasting note (James Halliday): “Quite an opulent style this vintage, coming out mid-gold and bright in the glass. Scents of lemon verbena and blossom, buttercups and honeycomb. The palate is supple, rich and decadent, buttery and creamy, with the fresh acidity lifting the finish.”
