Aromatic, citrusy character with notes of warm pepper, nutmeg and Indian Lime.
From Third Eye Distillery comes Stranger & Sons, distilled in Goa, India. Made with botanicals such as Gondhoraj limes, coriander, black pepper and cassia bark, as well as plenty of juniper.
Deep in the jungles of the Western Ghats in India, lives a two-tailed, three-eyed creature who once chanced upon juniper berries hidden in the secret pocket of a sari blouse. The story of this gin began with her.
She’s known to appear on full moon nights holding a pot with her human hand and hiding secret ingredients in her two tails. Some say you can find her between dusk and dawn, at the local bars in Panjim, Goa but we’ve heard murmurs of sightings in London, Singapore and Thailand…
Her pug marks disappear as soon as she makes them, as though as there’s an invisible wind whose sole responsibility is keeping her existence a mystery to all, except those she chooses. And even then she always uses her third eye to connect with them.
The mythical creature made famous for her gin is spotted most infrequently in the jungles of India. Her once secret recipe contains Juniper, she found in the hidden pocket of a sari blouse; Coriander seeds that got stuck in her paws; a unique blend of lemon peels, Indian bergamot & Gondboraj lemons left to dry in the sun; Indian black pepper stolen from the earth in the heaviest monsoon rain; Liquorice borrowed from a gambling godman; Cassia bark torn off a tree in a fit of rage; Nutmeg received as payment for gin from a Langur & Mace, the clever Langur’s trick to replace nutmeg. The legend continues…
