The Robert Weil winery was established in Rheingau, Germany in 1868. While Suntory took over general management of the winery in 1988, Wilhelm Weil, fourth-generation winemaker, continues to oversee operations of the winery.
Today, over 90% of production is dedicated to dry wine. The Robert Weil winery continues to receive high praise from wine critics around the world.
The late 12th century saw first mention of this renowned Rheingau vineyard as the ‘mons Rhingravii’ (the Mountain of the Rhine Counts).
