Founded in 1689, Hideyoshi is one of the oldest brewery in Akita. It was the sake of choice of the feudal lord in 1848. The winters in Akita bring deep snow and bitter cold. The crisp, pristine air is perfect for the finest sake brewing, known as kan-shiomi.
Lively notes of white peaches and honeysuckle that are underscored by hints of toasted almonds. Pair with raw bar dishes, sushi, white meat dessert & spicy food.
Very bright and refreshing. Good for casual drinking, or for aperitifs at a pairing dinner. Surprisingly complex.
